Compare documented magnetic power-bank options, exact iPhone support and capacity limits without guaranteed charging speeds or invented rankings.
Choose a magnetic power bank by exact model compatibility, size and documented charging output. A Qi2 logo and a capacity label do not guarantee a fixed charging speed or a fixed number of recharges.
Correction, September 5, 2026: corrected compatibility and specification claims using the sources below. This is a research-based assessment, not a firsthand product test.

15W and Qi2 25W are different capabilities
The Wireless Power Consortium distinguishes Qi2 and Qi2 25W. The phone, charger, software and conditions determine what a particular pairing can deliver. Do not assume every iPhone numbered 16 or 17 supports the same wireless rate; the 16e and 17e are especially important exceptions to check.
Our charging compatibility guide separates Apple’s model-specific MagSafe guidance from broad accessory claims.
Anker MagGo: identify the exact version
Anker uses the MagGo name for several products. Its A1654 documentation identifies a 10,000mAh Qi2 model with wired USB-C charging. Do not confuse it with a different 10K MagGo merely because the name looks similar.
We removed the unsubstantiated “class-leading thermals” verdict and claimed recharge count. Compare the model number, dimensions, weight and current offer. Our earlier generic INIU recommendation did not identify a verifiable SKU and has been withdrawn.

UGREEN MagFlow 10,000mAh Qi2 25W
UGREEN’s product page documents a Qi2 25W model with a built-in USB-C cable. Its advertised charging times are manufacturer results under specified conditions, not times iPhoneExtra reproduced.
Consider this type of bank if your phone supports the relevant rate and its size suits your carry habits. It is not automatically faster throughout an entire charge or the best choice for every iPhone owner.

Apple has a current battery for iPhone Air
Our earlier statement that Apple has no replacement battery product was misleading. Apple sells an iPhone Air MagSafe Battery specifically for iPhone Air. It should not be treated as a universal battery for other iPhones.
Capacity and safety checks
Cell capacity in mAh cannot be divided directly by a phone’s capacity to promise usable recharges. Conversion losses, temperature, phone use and charging method matter. Wired charging can be more efficient, but “wired is always faster” is too broad without comparing actual outputs.
Check the manufacturer’s current model-specific safety notices when selecting an older unit. For example, Anker’s notice names A1642, A1647 and A1652; do not confuse those model numbers with A1654. Follow the notice if your unit is affected.
Choose a smaller bank for light top-ups or a larger one if its capacity justifies the extra weight. The right choice depends on how you carry and charge, not an invented score.
