Black Friday iPhone and Accessories Buying Guide
Black Friday and Cyber Monday bring a rush of iPhone accessory listings. This guide covers what to look for in each category, what tends to go on sale, and how to check an Amazon listing before you buy, so the charger, case or AirPods that arrive are the ones your iPhone needs.
Listings checked . For each product linked here we checked on Amazon.com that the listing shows the named product and model and that a new offer could be added to the cart. Sellers and stock change, so check again before you buy.
Start with your iPhone model
Most accessory mistakes come down to the wrong model. Open Settings > General > About to see your iPhone's model name and model number; Apple's Identify your iPhone model page matches the two.
The connector is the first split: iPhone 15 and later charge over USB-C, while iPhone 14 and earlier use Lightning. Cases and screen protectors are cut for one exact model, so an iPhone 17 case is not an iPhone 17 Pro case.
Chargers: match the watts to the phone
Any USB-C Power Delivery (USB-PD) charger works with a USB-C iPhone, and Apple lists comparable third-party USB-PD adapters alongside its own. The wattage decides how fast it gets there.
Apple's fast-charge figures: iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max reach about half charge in around 20 minutes with a 40W or higher adapter. iPhone Air and iPhone 17e get there in around 30 minutes with 20W or more. iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max need Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, or a 60W-capable USB-PD 3.2 adapter with Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS), for their fastest rate. Earlier models fast charge from an 18W or higher USB-C adapter, with a USB-C to Lightning cable on Lightning iPhones.
A smaller charger still charges every one of these phones, only more slowly. If one adapter will also charge an iPad or a second device, more watts or a second port earns its place in the bag.
Apple 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter
Apple's own adapter with two USB-C ports that share 35W. With one device plugged in, it clears the 30W Apple asks for to run the MagSafe Charger at its top rate. Model MW2H3AM/A on the listing.

A small single-port USB-C charger, model A2147 on the listing. 30W covers fast charging on most iPhones and the MagSafe Charger, but sits under Apple's 40W mark for the iPhone 17 models' fastest wired rate.

A compact single-port USB-C charger with folding prongs, model WCH013dq on the listing. 45W clears Apple's 40W mark for iPhone 17 models. The listing names USB-PD 3.1 and PPS, not the USB-PD 3.2 AVS adapter Apple names for iPhone 18 Pro's fastest rate.

MagSafe chargers snap onto the back of iPhone 12 and later, except iPhone 16e, which charges on them as a plain Qi phone, without the magnetic hold. Plugged into a 30W or higher adapter, Apple's MagSafe Charger reaches up to 25W on iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max and the iPhone 18 Pro models. Some models peak lower (iPhone Air at 20W, iPhone 16 and 16 Pro at 22.5W), and iPhone 17e and iPhone 15 and earlier charge at up to 15W. Apple's MagSafe support page lists the rate for each model.
Qi2 is the open standard built on the same magnets: Qi2 chargers run at up to 15W, and the newer Qi2 25W chargers reach 25W on iPhones that support it. A plain Qi pad without magnets charges more slowly and can slide out of place.
A magnetic power bank is the easy travel pick. Check its capacity in mAh, whether it is Qi2 certified, and how it recharges itself. Under FAA rules, power banks go in carry-on bags, not checked luggage.
Apple MagSafe Charger (1 m)
Apple's MagSafe Charger with a 1 m USB-C cable, model MX6X3LL/A on the listing. The power adapter is sold separately. When we checked, the new offer on this listing was sold by a third-party seller and shipped by Amazon, so read the Sold by line before you buy.

There are no product links in this section: the right case or screen protector depends on your exact model, so search for your model name and check each listing against these points.
- Exact model. Camera layouts and buttons differ between models, even within one year's lineup. The listing should name your model, not a range of them.
- Magnets. If you use MagSafe chargers, wallets or mounts, pick a case labelled MagSafe-compatible or Qi2 with built-in magnets. A thick case without magnets weakens the hold.
- Screen coverage. For screen protectors, check whether it covers the full screen, whether it comes with an installation frame, and whether its edges leave room for a case.
- Packs. Multi-packs are common for screen protectors around Black Friday and make sense there; one good case usually beats three.
Cables
USB-C iPhones (iPhone 15 and later) take a USB-C to USB-C cable; Lightning iPhones need USB-C to Lightning. A cable rated 60W covers any iPhone and most iPads; higher-watt cables are meant for laptops.
Braided cables resist fraying, and length depends on where the outlet is. If you move large video files off a Pro model, check its tech specs for USB 3 support and look for a cable rated for USB 3 data, since most charging cables move data at USB 2 speed.
Listings often group lengths and colors on one page, so check that the option you selected is the one in your cart.
Belkin 60W braided USB-C to USB-C cable (1 m)
A braided 1 m (3.3 ft) USB-C to USB-C charging cable rated 60W, sold by Amazon.com when we checked. Pick the length on the listing before adding it to the cart.

Check the generation and the case before anything else. AirPods 5 with Active Noise Cancellation come with a USB-C charging case, or, as a separate listing, a wireless charging case. AirPods Pro 3 come with a USB-C MagSafe charging case. The model number on the listing tells versions apart.
AirPods 5 bring Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Apple's hearing health features and IP57 dust, sweat and water resistance. AirPods Pro 3 add an in-ear fit with ear tips and heart-rate sensing during workouts. Apple's Compare AirPods models page lists every difference.
New, renewed and used offers can sit on the same listing. Check that the offer you add says New and look at the Sold by line. The same checks apply to earbuds from other brands.

Last year's models and Amazon Renewed phones are where older iPhones show up. We don't link specific phones here, because carrier, storage, color and condition change the listing too often for one link to stay right. Before you buy one:
- Carrier lock. An unlocked phone works with any US carrier; a carrier-locked one only with that carrier. The listing title says which.
- US model. Apple's Identify your iPhone model page lists the US model numbers. US models from iPhone 14 on have no SIM tray and use eSIM only.
- Storage. Storage cannot be added later. Pick at least as much as your current phone uses (Settings > General > iPhone Storage).
- Condition and battery. Renewed listings state the condition and battery standard they promise; read that section, then check Settings > Battery once the phone arrives.
- Returns. Amazon Renewed products come with a 90-day window to return them for a replacement or refund.
What usually goes on sale around Black Friday
Black Friday is November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Offers on Amazon often start earlier in November and run through Cyber Monday. These are the categories that usually take part:
- Chargers, cables and power banks from the big accessory brands, usually the widest category.
- AirPods, often including the current generation.
- MagSafe and Qi2 accessories: chargers, stands, wallets and power banks.
- Cases and screen protectors, often as multi-packs or bundles.
- Older iPhone models, mostly through carriers and Amazon Renewed. The current iPhone lineup tends to come with carrier plans and trade-in credit rather than a lower sticker price.
How to check an Amazon listing before you buy
A lower price only helps if the item is the right one. Run through these before you add anything to the cart:
- Seller. Read the Ships from and Sold by lines next to the buy button. Amazon.com or the brand's own store is the simplest case. A third-party seller can be fine, but open its seller page and read its return terms first.
- Model number. Scroll to the product details and find the Item model number. For Apple products it should match Apple's part number, like MX6X3LL/A on the MagSafe Charger listing above; for other brands it should match the maker's model.
- Compatibility. Titles pack in every phone name for search. Read the details instead: the connector (USB-C or Lightning), the wattage, MagSafe or Qi2 certification, and the exact iPhone model for cases and screen protectors.
- Condition and option. One listing can hold new, renewed and used offers and several colors, lengths or sizes. Check that the offer says New (unless you want Renewed) and that the option you picked is the one in the cart.
- Return window. The listing shows its return terms near the buy button, and your order page shows the exact return-by date. Holiday return windows can differ by item, so check the date on your order rather than assuming one.
- Delivery. The delivery estimate depends on your address. Check that it arrives before the day you need it.
