iPhone 17e is a released product. Apple announced it on March 2, 2026, with availability from March 11. The old article’s February and March-event predictions should not have remained as buying guidance.

Confirmed specifications
Apple’s specifications list A19, a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, Face ID, a 48MP Fusion rear camera and a 12MP TrueDepth front camera. The earlier Dynamic Island and 18MP Center Stage claims were incorrect.
The model starts at 256GB and also offers 512GB. Finishes include black, white and soft pink. The specification sheet is the source for regional models, connectivity and dimensions.
Charging and battery
17e supports MagSafe and Qi2 charging up to 15W, not the 25W figure previously stated. Apple lists up to 26 hours of video playback under its conditions; that is not a guarantee of two days of mixed use.
Use compatible power accessories and check the charger’s requirements. A magnetic ring on a case cannot change the phone’s documented charging limit. See MagSafe and Qi model differences.
Chip and modem
Apple’s launch announcement identifies the C1X modem. The previous 16e used Apple’s C1, not Qualcomm as the old comparison table claimed.
The A19 name alone does not mean every configuration matches another iPhone’s GPU or performance. We removed unsupported RAM figures and guaranteed speed and endurance improvements.
Software and pricing
Apple Intelligence functions have device, software, language and region requirements. The newer Siri AI announcement should not be presented as a feature that universally shipped with 17e. See Siri availability.
Apple announced a U.S. starting price of $599 for 256GB. That is a dated launch price, not a live worldwide offer. Check the current local configuration, taxes and seller terms.
Should you buy?
